Environmental Policy

Apollo Plating is dedicated to complying with all the relevant environmental regulations for the safety, health, and well being of its employees and community. Through timely review of our corporate objectives and targets, and a firm commitment to continual improvement by the management and staff of Apollo Plating, we will reduce or eliminate when possible any pollution from our facility.

Since Apollo Plating operates within the Electroplating industry, we are under the regulation of the EPA and MDEQ. Both federal and state authorities regulate the manufacture and sale of electroplating.

Apollo Plating has obtained all required federal and state permits, licenses and bonds to operate its facilities.

In 2001, Apollo Plating achieved registration for ISO14001, assuring its customers and employees that we will continue to comply with the standards set forth by the industry.

Quality Policy

Apollo Plating’s quality strategy is to enhance, promote, and support the fact that our products look better and last longer. We actively market our Quality Policy.

The employees of Apollo Plating, Inc. are dedicated to providing the highest quality products to our customers. Quality materials, technical expertise, and pride in workmanship combine to achieve this goal. We will meet our customers’ expectations all the time, every time.

In 1999 Apollo Plating, Inc. received its QS9000 and 1S09002 certification. At that time only 2% of electroplaters in the United States had achieved this status.

Training and Supervision

Apollo Plating believes that quality can be controlled by utilizing an informed and fully trained workforce and inspection crew, and by supplying only quality materials. All personnel receive 60 days of training with regard to their area specific quality control measures. In addition, all employees are trained on safety procedures. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are readily accessible and made available to any and all employees. Supervisors routinely oversee inspections and verify non-conforming items in accordance with QS9000 and 1S09002 standards.
